St Augustine Halloween 2012 Ghosts and Gravestones

When the sun goes down in St. Augustine, darkness has a whole new meaning as the ghostly spirits come out to haunt. Take your seat aboard the Trolley of the Doomed and be ready to be afraid… very afraid. Aboard the Ghosts & Gravestones Tour, hear stories of the Old Drug Store, built on the edge of the Tolomato Cemetery. Learn the secrets to the hauntings that have plagued it from the time it first opened in 1887. Afterwards get an exclusive nighttime experience inside Potter’s Wax Museum’s Chamber of Horrors for a unique retelling of the famed pirate Andrew Ranson’s gruesome execution; and enter the ancient city’s most haunted building, the Old Jail, where paranormal experiences are the norm. St. Augustine’s “Frightseeing” Tour takes place every night and is one hour and twenty minutes long. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Board the trolley at the Welcome Center at 27 San Marco Avenue. St. Augustine’s most frightening Ghost Tour is very popular during the ghoulish holiday so make your reservations well in advance for St. Augustine Halloween.
